Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with recipes, standards, and specifications.
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or fish stations, ensuring smooth workflow.
Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to the head chef or sous chef.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality control.
Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety legislation.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
A recognised culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential.
