Safeguarding & Inclusion Administrator
Salary: Oakwood Scheme 8 (£30,404 to £33,752 FTE) (£26,740 to £29,685 pro rata)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time plus Inset days (39 weeks)
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and discreet Safeguarding & Inclusion Administrator to join our dedicated pastoral team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring that our safeguarding, attendance, behaviour and SEND systems operate efficiently, enabling every student to receive the support they need to thrive.
Working closely with the Senior Deputy Headteacher, Designated Safeguarding Leads, SENCo and wider pastoral team, you will provide high-quality administrative support across several key areas of school life. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure and has excellent attention to detail.
The Role
You will:
- Provide administrative support for safeguarding, attendance, behaviour and SEND.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records using the school's safeguarding systems.
- Liaise professionally with parents, staff and external agencies.
- Coordinate meetings, referrals and appointments, taking accurate minutes where required.
- Support attendance monitoring and behaviour administration.
- Assist the SENCo with SEND administration and student support processes.
- Ensure all information is handled with the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Is able to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Communicates confidently and professionally with a wide range of people.
- Has outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is resilient, calm and able to deal with sensitive information discreetly.
- Has strong IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office (experience of school management systems is desirable but not essential).
