DAVSS (Domestic Abuse Volunteer Support Services) supports adults and children affected by domestic abuse across West Kent. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Partnerships & Fundraising Coordinator to help us grow support for our work, develop relationships with local businesses and supporters, and turn fundraising ideas into action.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the CEO and play a key role in building sustainable income that enables DAVSS to support around 1,000 people affected by domestic abuse each year.
You will help develop partnerships, create fundraising opportunities and ensure great ideas are turned into successful activity that generates both income and awareness for DAVSS.
Working closely with the CEO, you will:
- Build relationships with local businesses, community groups and supporters
- Coordinate campaigns, events and appeals
- Help develop corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Support the growth of individual giving, donor engagement and community support
- Coordinate fundraising volunteers and supporters
- Help deliver DAVSS' fundraising strategy
- Represent DAVSS at networking and community events
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys building relationships and engaging with people
- Is organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Can turn ideas into action and see things through
- Is comfortable networking and representing DAVSS within the community
- Has experience in fundraising, business development, account management, events, marketing, community engagement or a similar role
- Shares our commitment to supporting survivors of domestic abuse
