Sales Representative – Otero DoorsPosition Overview

Otero Doors is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.

The primary purpose of the role is to bring new work into the business, develop client relationships, identify upcoming projects and opportunities, and represent Otero Doors professionally throughout the sales process.

The successful candidate will be expected to actively seek new business, attend client meetings and site visits, assist with new works and specification opportunities, and provide a high level of customer service from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

Identify and develop new business opportunities for Otero Doors.
Proactively contact potential new clients and develop relationships with key decision makers.
Generate new enquiries, projects and sales opportunities.
Develop relationships with main contractors, facilities management companies, property managers, consultants, architects, developers and other relevant organisations.
Identify upcoming projects and works where Otero Doors can provide services.
Follow up leads, quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.
Maintain regular contact with existing clients to identify additional works and future opportunities.
Work towards agreed sales and business development targets.

Client Meetings & Site Visits

Attend client meetings as required to understand their requirements and identify opportunities.
Attend site meetings and surveys for new works where required.
Meet with clients to discuss proposed works, projects, upgrades, maintenance requirements and compliance issues.
Build a strong understanding of the client's requirements and ensure these are communicated effectively to the Otero Doors team.
Represent Otero Doors professionally at all times.

Specification & Project Opportunities

Identify opportunities for Otero Doors to become involved at the early stages of projects.
Develop relationships with architects, consultants, specifiers, contractors and end users.
Promote Otero Doors' capabilities and services.
Work with the technical and operational teams to develop suitable solutions for clients.
Assist in securing projects where Otero Doors can provide design, supply, installation, maintenance or servicing.
Monitor projects from initial opportunity through to quotation and order.

Customer Service & Account Management

Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients.
Act as a key point of contact for clients during the sales and pre-contract stage.
Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally.
Ensure customer requirements are understood and communicated internally.
Follow up on quotations and outstanding enquiries.
Maintain regular contact with key accounts to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to increase work with existing clients.
Escalate any customer concerns or issues to the appropriate department and assist in achieving a satisfactory resolution.

Internal Communication

Work closely with the estimating, contracts, engineering and management teams.
Ensure information obtained from clients and site meetings is accurately communicated to the relevant departments.
Provide clear information regarding project requirements, scope, timescales and client expectations.
Attend internal meetings where required to discuss opportunities and ongoing projects.
Ensure CRM/sales records are kept up to date.

Desirable

Experience within the automatic door, access, security, construction, facilities management or building services sectors.
Existing relationships within the construction, facilities management or property sectors.

Understanding of automatic doors, pedestrian doors, gates, loading bay equipment or associated building services.
Experience working with contractors, consultants, architects or facilities management companies.

Pay: £25,420.00-£60,000.00 per year
