Kaktus Adventure Vans designs and builds premium campervans and overland vehicles. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a practical and motivated Carpenter / Leisure Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This role would suit someone with a background in carpentry, campervan conversions, shop fitting, vehicle conversions, CNC manufacturing, joinery, boat building, or similar hands-on industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Fitting furniture and cabinetry into campervans
- Assisting with vehicle conversions and interior installations
- Working from drawings and build specifications
- Operating CNC machinery (or learning to)
- Basic 12V electrical work such as fitting lights and accessories
- Working alongside our existing carpentry team
- Helping deliver projects on time and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- Previous practical experience in carpentry, joinery, vehicle conversions, shop fitting, boat building, CNC manufacturing or similar
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work under pressure when required
- Good problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
- CNC programming or CAD drawing experience
- Experience with campervans, motorhomes or leisure vehicles
- Basic 12V electrical knowledge
- Experience using Fusion 360 or similar software
