About the Site
Our Inverness operation serves commercial and construction customers across the Highlands, delivering skip hire, waste collection and recycling, alongside a busy metals business. The site currently has a team of around 20 people.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient running of the site, leading the team and driving operational and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead safe, efficient site operations in line with SEPA licence requirements
· Manage daily activity, waste movements, plant performance and workflows
· Maintain health, safety and environmental standards
· Lead and develop the site team
· Oversee customers, commercial performance, costs and reporting
· Support transport coordination and service delivery
Essential Requirements
· Management experience in waste, recycling, haulage or similar
· Strong health & safety and environmental compliance knowledge
· Proven team leadership
· Commercial awareness and customer engagement skills
· Strong IT and administrative skills
· Full UK driving licence
· WAMITAB / COTC or willingness to achieve
Desirable
· IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
· Knowledge of Operator’s Licence and transport compliance
