Job Summary
Position: Multi-Trade Builder
Location: Chippenham
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Salary: based on experience
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Trade Builder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across several building trades and be confident working independently or as part of a team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects for residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of building tasks including carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting, basic plumbing, and general repairs.
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Diagnose issues on-site and provide practical, effective solutions.
Maintain professional communication with clients and colleagues.
Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a multi-trade builder or similar role.
Strong skills across a minimum of 2–3 core trades.
Good knowledge of building regulations and safe working practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Own tools preferred.

Desirable

Experience in both domestic and commercial environments.
Additional skills such as roofing, landscaping, or bricklaying.
