Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our automotive garage team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and supporting the daily operations of the garage. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a passion for the automotive industry. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales experience within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their enquiries regarding vehicles and services
Provide detailed information about available tyres and services
Support the sales process by explaining features and benefits of different vehicles
Maintain a tidy and organised sales area, ensuring displays are attractive and up-to-date
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required
Manage phone calls professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Support in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing sales documentation

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interaction
Experience in vehicle maintenance or automotive services is a plus but not mandatory
Organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
