Full job description

About Us:

The Kents is a busy pub and restaurant located in Wellswood. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Supervisor to join our front-of-house team and assist in managing daily shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Shift Management: Oversee the smooth running of the floor during service, ensuring high standards of customer service and cleanliness.
Team Leadership: Guide and support front-of-house staff on shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Customer Service: Act as a key point of contact for guests, handling bookings, inquiries, and any issues professionally.
Daily Operations: Assist with opening/closing duties, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role within a busy pub or restaurant.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a team during peak hours.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
