Bar & Restaurant Supervisor – Part-Time / Full-Time

Location: The Pig And Whistle Inn, Totnes TQ9 6LT

Role: Bar & Restaurant Supervisor

Hours: Part-time or Full-time. We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to support our Pub Manager and take full responsibility for pub operations when leading a shift. You will lead our team during busy lunch and evening services, ensuring smooth running across all areas of the business while delivering excellent standards with a friendly, positive approach.Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, organise and support front-of-house teams
Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any guest queries
Delegate tasks effectively and work across bar, restaurant and service areas
Manage opening and closing procedures
Train and develop new and existing staff members
Maintain high standards of food and beverage service

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within hospitality
Positive, friendly personality and a strong "can-do" attitude
Willingness to work hard and lead by example
Genuine passion for food and drink
Ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods
Commitment to excellent customer service
Must be aged 18 or over
Personal alcohol licence is preferred, but full training will be provided if required
