We have an opportunity for a Housing Assistant at our Extra Care Service in Totnes. You will join a dedicated team, working with the Extra Care Scheme Manager to deliver a high-quality housing management service that exceeds customer expectations.
This is a 12-month fixed-term part-time position (25 hours per week), working 5 hours daily, Monday to Friday. Exact working hours are to be agreed and will be between 9am and 5pm.
Key responsibilities:

Provide advice on repairs, tenancy management, and rent queries, referring to specialist teams where required

Communicate effectively with residents and signpost local services

Respond promptly to and resolve complaints in line with agreed standards

Liaise with contractors to minimise disruption and keep residents informed

Work with internal and external teams to address concerns and support safeguarding requirements

Carry out routine health and safety checks, including fire safety inspections, ensuring compliance with legislation
