Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of the Company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our company's success.

Duties

Experience in Sage 200 essential.
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry and transaction recording, month-end and year-end closing procedures
Manage and submit monthly VAT returns (with import duty documentation)
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
Process invoices, payments, income, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by management
Support EOY audit preparations by organising relevant documentation
Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
Proficiency in Sage 200 accounting software (multi-currency)
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

This position is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, proactive, and eager to support the financial integrity of our organisation through expert bookkeeping practices.

Pay: £38,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
