Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding property, assets, and personnel through vigilant surveillance, proactive loss prevention, and prompt response to incidents. Responsibilities

Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
Conduct regular surveillance patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid when necessary
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and surveillance logs for accountability and reporting purposes
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
Collaborate with emergency responders during incidents to ensure swift resolution and safety of all individuals on-site

Skills

Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and reduce inventory shrinkage
Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, including administering first aid when required
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
Clear communication skills for reporting incidents accurately and interacting professionally with staff and visitors
Basic understanding of security protocols and procedures applicable to various environments
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness
