Full job description

Job Purpose:

Weatherford are looking for an experienced Materials Handler/ Picker & Packer to join the ISDT (Intervention Services & Drilling Tools) Team in Altens, Aberdeen.

The Materials Handler / Picker & Packer plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient goods receiving and equipment control. You'll be responsible for accurately receiving and identifying assets, inventory, and customer-owned equipment within a timely manner, typically within 24-48 hours of arrival. Your attention to detail will be key in maintaining high service quality standards and adhering to company processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Support all business units in the goods receiving process and procedures.
Picking materials for work orders, redeployment and for sending offshore.
Ensure timely unloading of equipment and company assets.
Establish clear identification, status, and traceability for proper equipment management.
Maintain a high standard of service quality and understand process/product realization controls.
Performing daily cycle counts of inventory.

Requirements:

Experience in goods inwards and materials handling.
Good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
It would be preferred if you have a forklift certificate for 5 Ton.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work under time constraints while meeting deadlines professionally.
Oil and gas experience would be advantageous.
