Job Summary
Wild Goose is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and team-spirited Duty Manager to join our growing hospitality business. You’ll work closely alongside our current management team and senior bartender, helping us deliver consistently strong customer service and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
As Duty Manager, you will:
- Support the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring high standards of service at all times
- Work alongside management and senior bar staff to deliver smooth shifts and great guest experiences
- Lead and motivate the team, helping to create a positive, supportive workplace culture
- Handle guest feedback, enquiries, complaints and special requests with professionalism and warmth
- Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure the venue is clean, organised, and ready for service
- Support staff training, rota organisation, and team communication
- Assist with stock checks, ordering, and basic inventory control
- Ensure health & safety and food hygiene standards are followed consistently
- Step in where needed during busy periods — supporting both floor and bar operations
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supervising or leading a team in hospitality (bar, restaurant, or hotel environment)
- A genuine passion for customer service and building strong guest relationships
- A positive attitude, great energy, and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a professional but friendly manner
- A hands-on approach, someone who supports the team and gets stuck in
- Confidence making decisions and resolving issues during service
- A team-first mindset , we want people who build the culture with us
Training & Development
Our bartending team is strong, and cocktail training can be provided for the right person. We’re happy to invest in someone who has the right attitude, values, and passion for hospitality.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,500.00 per year
