Full job description

Due to continuing growth within the practice a new opportunity has become available for a fully qualified and experienced Orthodontic Therapist to join our established team. We specialise in both NHS and private treatment and pride ourselves on our excellent reputation in the local Christchurch and Bournemouth areas.

We are currently looking for an Orthodontic Therapist with a proven track record in taking impressions, fitting braces, adjusting braces, changing arch wires, removing braces and fitting retainers. The successful candidate will share the practice goal of providing high-quality orthodontic care to all our NHS and private patients and will need to exhibit a professional and mature demeanour. An excellent chair side manner and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and parents alike is also required. We encourage and support professional development and continued learning in order to ensure high standards are maintained.

Applicants must be on the General Dental Council register with a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy (DipOT) or hold another recognised qualification in Orthodontic Therapy, with the right to work in the United Kingdom.

We are looking for someone on a full-time basis however part time could be considered.

Salary is negotiable and depending on experience and this is to be discussed further at interview stage with the practice manager/owner. The practice is based in Christchurch, Dorset and close to the town centre so there is plenty of car parking around the area and the train station is a short walk away.
