Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ballet Dance Teacher to join our vibrant dance academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ballet instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. The Ballet Dance Teacher will play a key role in fostering students’ love for dance while developing their technical skills and artistic expression.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging ballet classes tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels
- Demonstrate proper ballet techniques, including posture, alignment, and movement execution
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as required
- Maintain a safe and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment and props are used appropriately
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and organise special workshops or masterclasses
Experience
- Proven experience teaching ballet at various levels, from beginner to advanced
- Strong knowledge of classical ballet techniques and terminology
- Prior experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners is desirable
- Relevant qualifications in dance instruction or professional ballet training are preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
- A passion for dance education and a commitment to fostering artistic growth in students
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Classes will be in evening after 5 PM.
