Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver/Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients goods, on our vehicles and also assisting with loading and stacking the vehicles.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securement of items during transit
Deliver goods to clients or designated locations within specified timeframes
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle
Complete all necessary documentation related to deliveries and vehicle logs accurately

Requirements

Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role is preferred
Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
Physical fitness suitable for handling manual tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
