Electrician - Domestic Repairs and Maintenance
Midlands, South Midlands, South East

Mullen Electrical Services are a leading Electrical Contractor looking to recruit an Electrician to carry out reactive and planned maintenance to occupied social and private housing properties in the Midlands, Home Counties and South Eastern areas.

We are ideally looking for somebody who lives local to Bedford which is our base and where you will report to each morning to receive instructions for the day. We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude and fantastic customer service skills.

Alongside the Customer Care Manager, You will ultimately be responsible for representing the company in delivering field based customer service and domestic electrical repair, modification and installation. You will take responsibility for the resolution of customer and product issues in order to maintain and enhance the reputation of the company

This is a Monday - Friday position, with weekend work also available upon request. You will be travelling to domestic properties carrying out preventative & reactive maintenance and remedial work on occupied and sometimes unoccupied properties.

Receiving instructions daily and providing feedback on works completed, you will need to have new build housing experience and be proficient in fault diagnosis, ventilation issues and domestic heating systems

Good organisational and self administrative skills are also required

This is a great opportunity to work with one of the leading Electrical Contractors in the UK. Use of a company van and when required overtime/call outs to earn more money on top of your basic salary.

Electrician Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
17th/18th edition (essential)
Full UK Driving License
Experience in a similar role
Good Communication skills
At least 2 year's experience working for Social Housing Contractor or Local Authority on domestic electrical repairs contracts (desirable)
2391 (desirable)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £150.00-£170.00 per day
