Qualified Dental Nurse / Receptionist – Full Time

Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday)
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified Dental Nurse to join our well established modern private dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and professional individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and would like to be part of a friendly, supportive and welcoming team.
The successful candidate will provide chairside support to our dentists and hygienists, assist with reception duties, help maintain compliance standards and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care before, during and after dental procedures.
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists.
- Maintain infection control, cross-contamination and hygiene standards in accordance with current regulations.
- Support reception duties, including greeting patients, answering telephone enquiries, scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Maintain accurate patient records using SOE dental software.
- Communicate treatment plans, appointments and post-treatment instructions clearly to patients.
- Assist with dental compliance procedures and practice administration.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of dental materials and supplies.
- Ensure the reception and clinical areas remain clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a valid GDC registration.
- DBS certificate and up-to-date Hepatitis B immunisations.
- Minimum of 2 years' dental nursing experience.
- Experience using SOE dental software and basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional, reliable, well-presented and enthusiastic about dentistry.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards.
