About the Team
National Studio 3 Trainers form a key part of Low Arousal and Behaviour Management and be working as part of the wider directorate of Assurance and Compliance. They work in close collaboration with operational teams, schools, and services to ensure consistent and effective practice. The team is dedicated to delivering high quality training, promoting low arousal approaches, and contributing to improved outcomes for autistic people and those who support them

About the Role
As a Studio 3 Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering Managing Signs of Distress training to schools and adult service settings across a broad geographical region. Your work will focus on supporting the safe, consistent and ethical implementation of the Managing Signs of Distress framework, ensuring staff are confident in applying least restrictive, person‑centred approaches aligned with BILD and Restraint Reduction Network standards

What You’ll Do

Deliver Studio 3 Low Arousal and Managing Signs of Distress training across services.
Support the implementation of the Managing Signs of Distress framework in practice.
Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of training materials and departmental products.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Completed the Managing Signs of Distress Trainer Programme.
Up to date knowledge of autism practice, PBS, safeguarding, trauma-informed approaches, and best practice developments.

This advert is for a full-time permanent position at 35 hours per week.

This role is hybrid.
