Agency Twenty Three is growing and we are looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of the social side of the agency.
This is not a junior role. Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in an agency environment and be confident managing six or more client accounts at one time.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, thinks commercially, and is comfortable leading social strategy from planning through to execution. This role requires someone who can take control, solve problems, and deliver consistently high-quality work for our clients.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a social media or digital marketing role within an agency environment
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- complete understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, X and Linkedin.
- Strong skills in filming and editing video and photography for social media, with a focus on short-form content (Iphones, Osmos even better if camera trained)
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, analytics, and performance reporting
- Confident using social media management and analytics tools
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
- Glasgow or Edinburgh Based
Desirable
- Basic knowledge of paid social advertising
- Willingness to learn and develop paid media skills
- Understanding of public relations principles and online reputation management
- A genuine interest in digital culture, social trends, and emerging platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client and organisational goals
- Plan, create, film, edit, and schedule engaging content across all relevant platforms, including written content, imagery, and video
- Manage 7 or more client accounts, maintaining consistency, quality, and performance across each
- Monitor social channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities, responding promptly and professionally to build strong online communities
- Analyse performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and optimise future content and strategy
- Work closely with the creative, marketing, PR, and client services teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment
- Manage online reputation by addressing feedback or issues in a professional and proactive manner
- Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practice
- Take full responsibility for the agency’s social output and day-to-day social delivery
