Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our vibrant sports centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing gymnasts of various ages and skill levels, fostering a positive environment that encourages physical development, confidence, and teamwork. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching skills within a supportive community setting.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels
Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures during training and routines
Monitor participants’ progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition
Organise warm-up and cool-down activities to prevent injuries
Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that motivates participants to achieve their personal best
Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate effectively with parents or guardians when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages
Excellent organisational skills to plan effective training sessions
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required
Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports education and committed to nurturing young talent in a safe, professional environment.

Pay: £12.00-£16.00 per hour
