Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing excellent support to staff and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative expertise within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
Data entry Google Workspace, and QuickBooks to ensure accurate record-keeping
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events to optimise office efficiency
Handling correspondence via email and postal services, ensuring timely responses
Supporting the team with administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, and filing

Skills

Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and correspondence management
Exceptional phone etiquette with clear communication abilities
Previous clerical experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional environment
