Job Overview

This job is for 5 hours a week spread over 2 days, times and days to be discussed
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience is not essential but is considered advantageous. Applicants should be organised, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces in accordance with health and safety standards
Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Interact courteously with clients or staff members when required, providing excellent customer service

Experience

Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and client interaction
Ability to drive is advantageous but not compulsory; candidates should be comfortable navigating local routes if required
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality are highly valued traits
Experience in customer service roles can be beneficial for maintaining positive interactions with clients or visitors
