Overview
Care Assistant

Location: Glynbargoed House

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at Glynbargoed Care Home, providing high-quality care and support to residents living with dementia. As we are growing we now require further support for both Days and Nights.

Shifts

Day shifts: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm

Night shifts: 7:30 pm – 7:30 am

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and support to residents living with dementia

Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, mobility, meals, and activities

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate records

Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times

Training & Development

Full induction training provided before starting

Ongoing mandatory training to keep your skills up to date

Support to achieve Level 2 and above in Health & Social Care or working towards

Opportunities for career progression within the organisation

About You

Caring, patient, and understanding of the needs of people living with dementia

Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team

Good communication skills

Previous experience in care is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided

Flexible to adapt to Rota needs of business.
