Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Multi trader to join our heritage construction team. The successful candidate will have a strong all round skill set across a range of trades, including carpentry, roofing, masonry, plastering, tiling, and kitchen and bathroom installation. The role involves working on a variety of projects, including heritage conservation and restoration works, while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, fitting doors and windows, and installing fixtures and fittings.
- Undertake roofing repairs and installations, ensuring weatherproofing and structural integrity.
- Complete painting and decorating works, including surface preparation and finishing to a high standard.
- Perform masonry duties such as bricklaying, block work, repointing, and concrete works.
- Deliver high quality plastering and lime plastering in both traditional and modern settings.
- Install floor and wall tiling to a high standard of finish.
- Fit kitchens and bathrooms, including associated building works.
- Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand tools and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, hammers, and chisels.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Multi trade or in a similar Building construction role.
- Strong practical knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, plastering, tiling, and kitchen and bathroom fitting.
- Experience working on heritage, conservation, restoration, residential, or commercial construction projects is advantageous.
- Competent in the safe use of hand tools and power tools within a construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to continually develop skills and expertise.

Pay: £17.00 per hour
