About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Multi-Skilled Joiner / Carpenter to join our expanding property maintenance team. This role is ideal for a professional craftsperson with strong joinery roots who thrives on variety and is comfortable turning their hand to a range of maintenance, installation, and repair tasks.
While joinery and carpentry form the foundation of this role, our business is highly varied. We are looking for an adaptable and practical individual confident in delivering high-quality solutions across privately owned homes, tenanted properties, residential developments, and commercial sites.

Typical Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will involve both planned projects and reactive maintenance, including:
- Primary Carpentry: First and second fix joinery, skirting, architraves, and finish carpentry.
- Doors & Windows: Fitting, repairing, and adjusting internal and external doors.
- Installations: Kitchen and bathroom fitting, refurbishments, and remedial works.
- Multi-Trade Repairs: General property maintenance, basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating as required.
- Client Relations: Providing professional, polite, and tidy service within occupied domestic and commercial spaces.
Fire Door Specialism (Highly Desirable)
As we expand our specialised services, experience in fire door installations, inspections, or remedial works is a major advantage.

Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in professional joinery, carpentry, or property maintenance.
- Licence: Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Sectors: Comfortable working in customer-facing and occupied domestic environments.
- Compliance: Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or holding a current one).
- Skills: Strong independence, on-site problem-solving, and a punctual, reliable approach.
Desirable Multi-Trade Skills:
- Basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, or decorating.
- Prior experience in kitchen/bathroom installations.
- Health & Safety certifications (e.g., Asbestos Awareness, Safe Working at Heights).

Working Schedule & Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts on site, inc 1/2 hour for lunch)
