Role Overview
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks from day-to-day bookkeeping to assisting with payroll and VAT returns within a property management setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry
- Process supplier and client invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and VAT returns
- Support month-end and year-end accounts preparation
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding payment queries
- Basic property management administration
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is essential
