Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, timely delivery of products, and efficient workflow across the production line. Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align schedules with supply chain requirements.
- Utilise Fusion systems such as SAP and Oracle to input, update, and monitor production data accurately.
- Analyse production data to identify potential bottlenecks or delays and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of materials.
- Adjust schedules dynamically in response to changes in demand, resource availability, or unforeseen disruptions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of scheduling processes and updates for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and production planning processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in analysing data and generating actionable insights from complex information sets.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting is desirable but not essential.
