Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drumming Teacher to inspire and educate students of all ages and skill levels for a Saturday morning. The successful candidate will possess a strong musical background, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching rhythm and percussion. This role offers an opportunity to foster musical growth in a supportive environment while sharing your love of drumming with others. You may start with a couple of students and build to a full timetable.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging drumming lessons tailored to individual student needs and skill levels
Prepare lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, musicality, and creativity
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to develop their musical talent.
Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and set up appropriately for each lesson

Requirements

Proven experience as a drummer with a strong understanding of various musical styles and techniques
Prior teaching experience or formal music education is preferred but not essential; relevant training will be considered
Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds
Organised with the ability to plan lessons effectively and manage time efficiently
Passionate about music education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
Ability to work a Saturday morning from 9am-1pm
A recognised qualification in music or drumming is advantageous but not mandatory
You MUST possess a current, enhanced DBS and registered for the update service.

Pay: £22.00 per hour
