About CPMS

CPMS are a key supplier across the UK rail network, providing a diverse and comprehensive range of services in a variety of disciplines including infrastructure, construction, maintenance and building services.

This involved a strategic approach working collaboratively with our clients to ensure the effective operation, maintenance and renewal of rail infrastructure in a manner that minimises environmental impact, optimises resource utilisation, promotes resilience and enhances overall sustainability.

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Billing Administrator to join our QS team on a 35 hour per week contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the compilation of periodic payment applications to enable works to be billed to the clients and for assisting with the production of small works quotations.

Duties

Processing of individual job data for input to application spreadsheets
Collating invoices/job cards to ensure all information available for billing
Contacting suppliers/subcontractors
Updating status of individual jobs on Sage Construct & Big Change
Preparing invoices for submission to Client
Filing and storing information
Completion of reports, when required
General administration duties as required

Experience

Previous administrative experience within a Construction or Building Maintenance environment
Good numeracy skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Confident communication skills
Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Big Change
Proficient in Excel data entry
