Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Legal Assistant/Secretary to join our team in Troon. In this role, as a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and legal support to our solicitors across a range of practice areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the legal sector.
Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with case preparation and file management.
- Drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
- Liaising professionally with clients, courts and third parties.
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and handling telephone calls.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Conducting legal research as required.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to legal standards at all times.
- Requirements
- Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Good IT literacy with familiarity in office equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
