Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high quality beverages in a calm paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector while working in a welcoming atmosphere. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working with people and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and service.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons warmly, answering questions about menu items, and assisting with special requests.
Keep the work area clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout shifts.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable to uphold health regulations.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy is advantageous.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential to succeed in this role. This position offers an engaging environment where you can refine your barista skills while contributing to a positive customer experience.
