Full job description

Job Ref: 339497
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 10:24 - 19:00.
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Cambridge, Coral Park Industrial Estate, CB1 3EZ

Why this role pays off:

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:-

o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£78.56 weekly)

Plus:

What you’ll be doing

Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation
Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
