Full job description

Fully skilled CNC Machinist with knowledge and experience preferable in CNC Milling and CNC Turning, however either will be considered but the role is primarily a turning vacancy.

Knowledge and experience in multi axis machining techniques a must, fully proficient in programming and setting. Company and manufacturer specific training can be offered if necessary but knowledge and experience of programming Fanuc and Siemens in general is essential. However, if you think you can adapt quickly, please apply.

Knowledge of CNC Sliding head machines a huge advantage.

Fixed head turners please apply, slidinghead turners please apply, millers please apply. If you can program, set and operate CNC machines please apply as we can be very flexible in our needs.

Familiar and proficient with metrology equipment and techniques and confident in their own ability. It is the expectation to take ownership of their work and meet the standards set out by not only the company but its customers too.

Able to interpret engineering drawings, knowledge of CAD software an advantage.

The candidate must be a team player but also be confident to work un supervised and be confident to take lead where lead is required. We require someone who works with attention to detail and can operate in a clean and tidy manner. We pride ourselves on presentation and believe our business is a reflection of our people. We are looking for fresh ideas and new ways to work so we need a confident personality that's not afraid to speak out and challenge what we do and help build new ways and methods.

Full time, permanent position Mon - Fri (half day fri)

Salary based on experience and negotiable.
