The Role:
As a 1st Line Support Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing remote and on-site technical support. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, escalate complex problems, and work closely with our Professional Services team to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and onsite visits.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Log and manage tickets through our ticket management system.
- Assist with installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update the technical knowledge base.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Stay current on new technology trends and participate in training.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar support role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a professional working attitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hands-on knowledge of desktop hardware, Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office/O365, Active Directory, Exchange, and basic networking.
- Experience supporting a range of devices including desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, structured cabling, and Wi-Fi.
- Full UK Driving License required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in IT or related field.
- Relevant IT certifications or training (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).
