“Leading the World with Innovative Solutions that Enhance Lives”
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality & Environmental Controller to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our manufacturing site. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the organisation consistently meets both internal standards and external regulatory requirements relating to quality and environmental performance.
Working collaboratively across Production, Customer Services, Commercial, Design, Health & Safety, Purchasing, Maintenance, and Regulatory Compliance, you will champion a robust Quality Management System (QMS). You’ll ensure processes are not only in place but are effective, compliant, and continuously improving.
Key responsibilities include overseeing quality control activities such as final inspection, welding, calibration, and external processing, as well as managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) with thorough root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative actions. You will lead weekly quality meetings with department heads, drive problem-solving initiatives, support rework procedures, and manage both internal and external audits.
You will also take ownership of environmental processes and contractor control, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards while promoting sustainable practices. Continuous improvement will be at the heart of your role, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
To succeed, you will have previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, and excellent IT skills. Experience working within an ISO-accredited environment is desirable.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, this role offers the opportunity to influence at a strategic level and make a tangible impact across the business.
