We are looking for an experienced individual who has previously worked in a picture framing environment and understands both the technical and customer-facing aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will have experience serving customers, advising on framing options, and managing framing orders from start to finish. You will be confident assisting the main framer with frame preparation and production, including measuring, assembling, and finishing frames to a high standard.
Experience with special and custom framing orders would be beneficial, including canvas stretching, T-shirt framing, mount cutting, and other bespoke framing techniques. Attention to detail, good manual skills, and the ability to work accurately with different materials are key.
You should be reliable, well-organised, and comfortable working as part of a small team, while also being capable of handling tasks independently when required. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach are important, as you will be involved in both workshop and front-of-house duties.
