Autism Specialist
Justteachers are recruiting for an Autism Specialist Learning Support Assistant to lead a nurturing class at a distinguished SEND school in the Spalding area. This full-time, long-term position is available immediately, and we are actively shortlisting candidates.

They focus on teaching students emotional literacy and self-regulation skills to help them manage stress effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Utilize specialised teaching methods to promote communication, social skills, and academic growth.
- Establish a supportive and structured classroom environment that nurtures emotional and social development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including therapists, parents, and fellow educators—to provide comprehensive support for students.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrate proven experience in teaching and supporting primary-aged students with autism.
- Possess a strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective teaching strategies.
- Provide two references from educational or school-based settings.
