Business Continuity Manager

About the Role
We have a new opportunity within Protection and Resilience as a Busienss Continuity Manager. Reporting to the Head of Business Continuity you will be responsible for refining and implementing a Resilience framework and related policies, with day to day oversight of the execution of the Resilience framework across Allianz UK.
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £57,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Support and maintain the Business Continuity Management lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of BCM activities across the organisation
- Support the development and maintenance of the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and integration with wider business continuity and risk management activities.
- Design, plan and facilitate scenario‑based resilience exercises, ensuring scenarios are severe‑but‑plausible andeffectively test the organisation’s response capabilities and recovery strategies
- Maintain organisation’s site specific Emergency Response Plans, ensuring they remain current and actionable. Facilitate Emergency Response Team calls when required
- Lead and coordinate annual BCM maturity self‑assessments
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, promoting awareness of resilience obligations, embedding good practice, and supporting capability uplift across the organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to communicate and influence at all levels
Essential Skills
