Join the Founding Team at Y2K Vintage Brighton
Y2K Vintage is entering an exciting new chapter as we open our very first store outside of London, and we're looking for passionate, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Assistants to become part of our founding Brighton team.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch our newest store from day one, shape the customer experience, build a community around the brand, and grow alongside us as we continue to expand.

You will be responsible for:
Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, energetic and memorable in-store experience. Build genuine relationships with customers, offer styling advice, and confidently help shoppers discover pieces they'll love.
Sales Performance
Support the team in achieving daily and weekly sales targets through excellent customer engagement, strong product knowledge and proactive selling. Help create an exciting shop floor atmosphere that encourages customer loyalty and repeat visits.
Visual Merchandising
Maintain the presentation of the store by replenishing stock, keeping displays fresh and visually inspiring, and ensuring the shop floor reflects the Y2K Vintage brand. Support visual merchandising updates based on stock levels, trends and customer demand.
Stock & Inventory
Assist with deliveries, replenishment, stock organisation and maintaining a clean and organised back-of-house area to ensure the store runs smoothly.
Brand & Community
Represent Y2K Vintage with enthusiasm and authenticity. As one of our founding team members, you'll play an important role in building our Brighton community and creating a destination that customers will want to return to time and time again.
Store Operations
Support the day-to-day running of the store by assisting with opening and closing procedures, operating the till accurately, maintaining store standards and ensuring the shop floor remains clean, organised and welcoming throughout the day.
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with your colleagues to help make our Brighton launch a success. Bring a positive attitude, support your teammates, and contribute to creating a fun, inclusive and high-energy working environment.
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, although full training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for vintage fashion, particularly 90s and 2000s womenswear.
- Confident communicating with customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Friendly, positive and proactive with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excited by the opportunity to help launch a brand-new store and grow with a fast-moving independent business.
- Flexible to work weekdays, weekends and busy trading periods.
