Clyde Windows and Construction is a growing business specialising in high-quality windows, doors, extensions, sunrooms, garage conversions and construction projects.
As our construction division continues to grow, we are now looking to add an Experienced Project Coordinator to the team. This is an additional role within the business, created to strengthen the department, improve project flow and support the next stage of our growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction and/or fenestration who is confident managing projects from start to finish and comfortable dealing with trades, suppliers and customers.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and helping manage projects from initial handover through to completion.
This is a predominantly office-based role from our Larkhall office, with responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of live projects including extensions, sunrooms, garage conversions and other construction works. You will work closely with our construction manager, operations team, trades, suppliers and customers to ensure projects are planned, communicated and delivered efficiently.
This is a hands-on coordination role and would suit someone who is organised, proactive, confident with construction processes and able to manage multiple live jobs in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Running and coordinating projects from start to finish
- Managing project activity across extensions, sunrooms, garage conversions and construction works
- Liaising with trades, subcontractors, suppliers and customers
- Supporting scheduling, planning and project timelines
- Coordinating materials, labour and site requirements
- Handling customer updates and day-to-day communication
- Dealing with site issues and helping resolve problems quickly
- Improving job handovers from sales through to operations
- Monitoring job progress and keeping projects moving
- Supporting the construction manager and wider operations team
- Helping ensure projects are completed to a high standard
- Maintaining clear communication across the department
- Supporting the business as we continue to grow the construction division
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Experience in construction project coordination, construction management, construction administration or a similar role
- A construction and/or fenestration background
- Understanding of extensions, sunrooms, garage conversions or similar home improvement/construction projects
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Confidence dealing with trades, suppliers and customers
- Ability to manage multiple live projects at different stages
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work predominantly from our Larkhall office
Desirable Experience
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience within the window, door, glazing or fenestration industry
- Experience coordinating domestic construction projects
- Knowledge of building processes, surveys, materials and installation works
- Experience working with subcontractors and site teams
- Familiarity with project management systems, scheduling tools or CRM software
