The Role
As a Customer Service Coordinator in a fast‑paced packaging manufacturing environment, you’ll support customers by managing orders, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring packaging products are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll learn how to balance customer needs with manufacturing constraints, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic, deadline‑driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
- To process sales orders, amendments and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner whilst keeping customers fully informed
- Liaise with internal departments and the customer to ensure where possible customer delivery dates are met.
- Respond to customer enquiries about product availability, order status, pricing, and technical packaging details.
- Monitor order progress and proactively update customers on any changes, delays, or required approvals.
- Support complaint handling, including logging issues, gathering information from manufacturing teams, and assisting with resolutions.
- Checking orders in line with internal procedures.
- Work within strict timelines, supporting the smooth flow of orders through a busy manufacturing environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement, sharing customer feedback to help refine processes and reduce errors.
- Complete apprenticeship training, applying learning to real‑world customer and production scenarios.
