Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, and living environments. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients through personalised care and support. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Effective communication with people ( in good English ) is the minimum desired qualification.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support with medication administration following prescribed protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to promote well-being
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Accompany clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance mental health and overall happiness
Respond promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary
Support families and other healthcare professionals involved in client care

Skills

Experience in Supported living, Care home environments or home care services
Ability to perform lifting and pushing a wheelchair.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage behaviour effectively.
Compassionate nature with strong caregiving qualities and patience
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientl
