Full job description

· Verify hospital appointments and arrange hospital transport when required.

· Arrange domiciliary visits i.e. opticians, dentist etc at the request of the Nurse/Person in Charge

· Type out any letters requested by the Manager

· Have adequate knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

· Assist with filing of documents both electronic and paper.

· Maintain the record of resident’s monies, Petty Cash and Activities monies. Perform Check and Correct once a month when possible.

· Deal efficiently and effectively with all enquiries.

· Assist with any relatives/resident’s complaints seeking the assistance of the management when necessary

· Ensure all new starters have relevant forms completed and file in HR file.

· Regularly audit and update all HR files.

· Attend on site meetings and take minutes when required.

· Complete Daily Returns and D2A returns and e mail to relevant external departments as required.

· Enrol all staff onto relevant training courses on the Flexebee system. Update training records as required

· Calculate payments due to staff from Flexebee training courses completed every month and send to directors

· Be aware of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and your own responsibilities under this act.

· Attend mandatory in-house and on-line training sessions

· Adhere to confidentiality about all issues at all times

· Send shopping list to directors weekly

· Update Holiday records in Excel

· Update Time and Attendance record weekly

· Update sickness record monthly and prepare Bradford scores

· Answer door bell and screen all visitors for residents entering the building.

· Liaise with Icare 24 or any other Agency when Nurse cover is required

· Update notice board daily sheets showing residents hospital visits, bloods needed etc

· Assist in preparation of rotas when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.71 per hour
