Full job description

We are seeking a Site Manager to join a high-performing customer programme with an annual spend of approximately £3.5M. As a Site Manager, you will act as an operational allrounder, ensuring exceptional customer service while delivering procurement, inventory, and supply chain support within a manufacturing environment.

The Site Manager will play a key role in achieving contractual commitments, supporting cost-saving initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and identify opportunities to increase sales and margins.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchasing, customer service, vendor relationships, and warehousing activities in line with contractual requirements.
Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and identify opportunities to enhance the programme.
Monitor performance and produce monthly reports covering cost, service, quality, and improvements.
Generate and track cost-saving initiatives to meet or exceed annual targets. Resolve customer issues, including billing and service concerns, and implement corrective actions.
Manage on-site resources, support training, and coordinate technical and value-added activities.
Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee physical stock counts.

About you:

Experience in procurement, inventory or storeroom management within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain operations and continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyse data, and solve complex problems effectively.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying improvements and cost savings.
