About the Role

We're on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to own and elevate organic social across our client portfolio. This isn't a role for someone who just schedules posts. We're looking for a strategist and storyteller who can build a brand's voice, grow an audience, and prove the commercial value of social.

Right now social sits across several people's desks. We want one specialist to take it properly, build a repeatable process behind it, and turn it into a genuine strength of the agency.

This is a part-time role at 80 hours a month, worked flexibly. It's a real opportunity to own a function end to end rather than pick up someone else's task list.

What You'll Be Doing

Own organic social strategy: across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, with the channel mix tailored to each client.

Build content that earns attention: monthly calendars, platform-native formats, and copy that sounds like the client rather than a template.

Present your work to clients: talk through strategy, performance and recommendations with confidence and clarity, working alongside the Project Manager who owns the account.

Manage the community: comments, DMs, engagement and the day-to-day conversations that turn followers into customers.

Report on what matters: monthly reporting that ties social activity to reach, engagement and commercial outcomes, not vanity metrics.

Collaborate across departments: work with SEO, Paid, Creative and Dev so social is integrated into the wider strategy, not bolted on.

Innovate and optimise: use data, tools and AI to move faster, test more, and stay ahead of platform changes.

Who We're Looking For

A creative and commercially-minded thinker with a genuine understanding of how social builds brands and drives revenue.
3+ years proven experience managing organic social for multiple brands, with results you can evidence, such as audience growth, engagement lifts, and content that performed.
Excellent copywriting and a natural ear for tone of voice across very different clients.
Hands-on with scheduling and reporting tools (Metricool, Later, Buffer, Sprout, Hootsuite or similar) and native platform analytics.
Strong grasp of what actually works per platform, from short-form video to LinkedIn thought leadership and community-led content.
Content creation ability is a real plus, whether that's shooting and editing Reels and TikTok-native content, or confidently directing others who do.
Understanding of or interest in AI in social, including content ideation, repurposing, automated reporting and social listening.
Client-facing confidence. You're articulate and persuasive, and can defend a recommendation or explain a result without needing a PM to translate for you.
Agency experience preferred, and comfortable juggling multiple accounts and deadlines.
Naturally proactive and self-directed. Remote and part-time only works if you're organised and don't need chasing.
