Full job description

About the Role

Career Developers, on behalf of Global Learning Pathway, are seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our Student Recruitment and Support team.

As a Student Recruitment Advisor, you will be the first point of contact, providing accurate information and advice to help individuals make informed decisions about their learning journey. Communication will be conducted via inbound and outbound calls, emails, letters, webchat, and other platforms as necessary.

Job Responsibilities

Call and engage prospective students who’ve registered or shown interest.
Work towards and exceed conversion targets with the team.
Apply effective conversion techniques to meet goals.
Respond promptly to maximize conversions.
Contact students via phone, email, text, or in person.
Assess inquiries and academic backgrounds.
Discuss study options based on financial suitability.
Process applications to partner universities (GBS, Arden & UOBM).
Manage and follow up on student application portfolios.
Forecast application outcomes and update operations and partners through CRM.
Coordinate with Visa & Compliance for ethical, compliant conversions.
Self-manage and motivate through strong relationship building.
Liaise professionally and promptly with partner universities.
Understand UK entry requirements (training provided).
Learn admissions policies of partner universities (training provided).
Work effectively with students and partners from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Person Specifications

Excellent Communication: Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills.
IT Proficiency: Comfortable using multiple systems to support varied student queries.
Adaptability: A self-motivated team player who can work independently and flexibly in a dynamic environment.
Skills: Preferable skills in Higher Education, Account Management, Marketing, Customer Service.
Customer Orientation: Passionate about delivering outstanding service with energy and professionalism.
