Location: Edgar Wood Academy, Heywood Old Road, Heywood, OL10 2QN

Edgar Wood Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Science to join our successful and expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a modern, well-equipped learning environment and play a key role in shaping a growing school.

About the role

You will:

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry and Physics)
Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
Promote curiosity, enquiry and scientific thinking
Support students to achieve strong GCSE outcomes

What we are looking for

A degree in a Science subject
QTS (or working towards it)
A passion for teaching and inspiring young people
Strong classroom practice and high expectations
Commitment to our values: Resilience, Empathy, Responsibility and Respect
